BENEFITS
- Attendance at the EFM in Sofia, Bulgaria – 5-7 June 2024
The Fellowship starts with a grant that covers all costs (travel, accommodation and registration fee) related to the attendance at the EFM 2024. The EFM is the EMC annual conference, a landmark event where, over three days, music professionals and art enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond gather to get to know relevant case studies, learn about exciting music projects, and meet their peers. The next edition of the EFM will be hosted by EMC member Bulgarian Music Association in Sofia, Bulgaria from 5 to 7 June: save the date! - Access to EMC’s membership benefits
Fellows have access to all EMC members-only benefits for one year (with the possibility of extension for a second year). These includes the EMC’s internal membership communication as well as exclusive access to EMC events and activities. - Networking and Professional Development
Fellows are given the opportunity to expand their professional network through the EMC. They are invited to actively take part in the EMC’s events and contribute to the workplan of the EMC (if applicable). - One-to-one Mentoring Programme
Fellows can access mentoring opportunities to receive individual support by senior EMC members with extensive experience in the fellow’s field of interest. The EMC secretariat will guide them through the EMC membership base to find the most fitting match with regards to areas of interest, expertise and geographical scope. - Continuous Involvement
There is no abrupt end: former fellows are invited to stay in touch with the EMC network through the KiT (Keep in Touch) programme and share their expertise and experience even after the end of their Fellowship season, as well as connecting to former fellows and board members to create further synergies.
