Eurotoire
Eurotoire is a songwriting and production camp for emerging musicians where participants will co-write, produce, release and promote an album, and perform at a music festival. The programme which is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme, will consist of a series of training events, including a three co-creation and co-production retreats, plus remote mentoring sessions from experienced professionals in various fields relating to music production and promotion. The camp is aimed at emerging musicians with specialisms ranging in songwriting, performing, recording and producing music, as well as video producing.
The team will consist of 20 musicians: 10 Songwriters, 6 Session Musicians and Vocalists, 2 Engineers/Producers and 2 Video Producers.
The camp consists of three Meetings in Cyprus. The first Session is in April where the musicians will meet their fellow collaborators at a recording facility and map out a promotion strategy for their album. The second Session is in July where the musicians will prepare for session three and practice for their performance at Fengaros Festival. Session three takes place in September where an ten-day recording session is planned.
The Application Process
- Selection Process: Calls are open from Feb. 12th to Feb. 28th, midnight EET. Interviews of prospect participants will take place between Mar. 3rd to Mar. 5th. All successful applicants will be informed by Mar. 6th (If you are selected you have three calender days to confirm you participation and sign the contract).
- Eligibility: The call is open to applicants between the ages of 18-35 with up-to-date travel documents from all countries that participate in the Creative Europe Programme Culture. Participants must be fluent in English.
- Selection Criteria: Participants will be selected based on their portfolio, technical skills, musicality, openness and ambition towards creative collaboration and production, dedication towards promotion and further development of collaborative outputs.
